PURE STUPIDITY FROM PARENTS WHO WANT TO SHOW OFF THEIR IGNORANCE
GRA should investigate tax administration of these individuals
I hope that next time, these child-spoiler parents will present Dreamliners to their children when they graduate from universities with Master's Degrees or PhDs. Gifting children with cars in the developed world is nothing sp ...

@Noviwo,.... I agree with you, they can be gifted in their homes or communities, not in the premises of the schools, it's completely out of place in
@ CADA, very well said. This is where the ministry of education as a regulator can step in and put rules in place to stop this behaviour by some parents.
God bless you, that is how it should be, but when black man copy something, they do it with their village mindset.
@Noviwo, spot on, why would this be allowed in a poor country like ours, even in the developed countries it's done on a quiet note and not being displayed on school campus, the parents of this child must be irresponsible ones ...

Like Sammy Gyamfi, throwing money on Agradaa.
How is this news ? If the family wants to give their child a house or a car, who cares ?
Mr AsempaNia, if you do not understand the STUPIDITY of this act of parents gifting cars to their children on school premises, then you are really STUPIDP!!
When the kids start being irresponsible with the cars, they shouldn't cry to Ghanaians. Why didn't they wait till the WASCE results are released, so that they can use their cars at the Uni.
It is unethical and show of wealth to do this. Why should rich parents reward their children who have just written WASSCE? Whether they will pass their exams or not, they are not concerned about that. That implies that, no ma ...

Only God knows how some of these families came by their wealth. Buying a 400000 worth of a car for a girl at this age is vanity. It looks like there is so much money to throw around to indulge in this showoff.
Gifting a student a car for completing secondary school is stupid and childish. Secondary school is just the beginning of academic future. What will you gift her if she earns her Masters, PhD, etc?
This is a show of from t ...

The headteacher and teachers are completely out of order. Why should you allow such a thing in our SHS campus
No, Ghanaweb shouldn't report things like that. This shouldn't be publicly reported. If it's not in the news they would stop doing vanity stuff.
Parents like these should make the government review the Free SHS policy. Because if you can buy a 400,000 Cedis car for your child, why do you send her to take a slot for Free SHS from someone who is poor when you could have ...

Exactly!
These parents are just unwise. How mature and experienced in driving are these shs graduates to be gifted cars? Looking at the carnage on our roads, they are simply pushing their children to their early grave.
And this student was fed by government
KWAASHIAASEM nkoaa NONSENSE
The parents should have waited for for results to come out first before showering their children with such expensive gifts. This is also an acknowledgement that their children are matured.
Parents of SHS pupils are fabulously rich. The Free SHS policy should be abolished immediately.
The free SHS shouldn't be abolished but if you feel you can pay for your child and the deprived kids in your village too i think it will be good
The is foolishness

This is the result of free SHS. No one should condemn it. It is part of free SHS recommendations.
Supposing the student fails what would be the essence of all these. Is it just a display of wealth. The students gifted the car can't even drive until the person is 18±.
Have they got their results?
Who knows? These car gifts may be staged In other words, it is just a show-off thing. The cars are returned to the actual owners when the students leave school to their homes. It does not make any sense for a parent to gift h ...
