The problem with the glut of rice is because they tend to over price them. Locally produced rice should not cost more then imported one. I want to buy the local rice, but each time I try, I find it cheaper to buy the imported ones. I am sure most of the food vendors have similar experiences.
If they want us to buy local rice, they have to make them cheaper, this way, there would be no incentive to go for the imported ones, Period!!
