At least three countries have now been eliminated from the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The three countries are Tunisia, Haiti and Turkey. Tunisia became the latest team to be officially knocked out of the tournament.
This happened after a 4-0 defeat to Japan at Estadio Monterrey in Guadalupe earlier today.

The result left Tunisia with no points after two Group F matches, meaning they can no longer qualify for the Round of 32.
Before losing to Japan, the Carthage Eagles were beaten 5-1 by Sweden. The North African side has now joined Haiti and Turkey in being eliminated from the World Cup.
Tunisia will play the Netherlands in their final Group F match in the coming days
