Barker-Vormawor has slammed selective justice over Ken Agyapong's corruption allegation
Private legal practitioner and #FixTheCountry convener, Osagyefo Oliver Barker-Vormawor, has criticised what he describes as the selective application of Ghana's laws following controversial remarks by outspoken politician Kennedy Agyapong.
In a Facebook post dated June 21, 2026, Barker-Vormawor referenced Agyapong's public statement alleging that someone approached his wife with a $55 million contract and demanded a 7% advance payment.

He further questioned whether Agyapong would face arrest for "causing fear and panic", a charge frequently levelled against opposition figures and activists.
“Will he be arrested too, or he hasn’t caused fear and panic? This is precisely why I keep warning you foot soldiers who cheer on the arrest of opposition foot soldiers for speech offences. You see how nobody is even claiming that Kennedy Agyapong needs to come and explain himself? A law that can be abused so easily, and is constantly selectively applied, is bad law!” Barker-Vormawor wrote.
The activist, who has himself faced high-profile legal battles, including a treason felony charge over a social media post during the E-Levy protests, drew on his personal experiences of remaining in Ghana despite alleged surveillance, threats, and government opposition to his travel.
He contrasted his experiences with cases involving political elites, arguing that accountability mechanisms appear to be unevenly enforced.
