The attacks on Ghanaians and other foreign nationals in South Africa continue as the June 30, 2026, deadline set by anti-immigration groups for all foreigners to leave the country draws near.

A new viral CCTV video reportedly showed two Ghanaians—a man and a woman—together with some children being robbed at gunpoint.

The video showed the moment two armed men entered what appeared to be a shop belonging to the Ghanaians.

The robbers could be seen forcing the man and woman to the ground, while they also pulled the children down with them.

One of the assailants then removed plastic cuffs, which he used to tie the hands of the Ghanaians behind their backs, before using brown tape to gag them.

The robbers reportedly stole the valuables of the Ghanaians and fled before the victims could free themselves.

The video captured the man freeing himself first and running after the robbers. The woman also managed to free herself and started screaming for help.

The timestamp on the CCTV footage showed that the incident occurred on June 21, 2026, at around 7:00 PM South African time.
