Ahead of the Black Stars of Ghana's 2026 FIFA World Cup match against England on June 23, 2026, some Ghanaian prophets have shared their predictions and spiritual insights concerning the highly anticipated encounter.

Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah

Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, founder and leader of the Believers Worship Centre Church and the Philadelphia Movement, addressed his congregation on Sunday, June 21, 2026, and predicted that there would be massive excitement in Ghana after the match.

Adom Kyei-Duah indicated that the jubilation would surpass what Black Stars supporters experienced after Ghana's victory against Panama, expressing confidence that the national team would record a huge win.

“Just look at how Ghanaians were excited after Ghana's win in the previous match. Then imagine the one that is coming,” he said.

Prophet Francis Amoako Atta

The founder of Parliament Chapel International, Prophet Francis Amoako Atta, also shared his thoughts in an interview with Okay FM on June 22, 2026.

“Based on our faith and our support for them, during a church service yesterday, I saw that they are planning to put pressure on us in the first half. We also have to respond to them spiritually. When we pray, we have to pray to stop that pressure and confuse them. With that, we can have hope,” he said.

Prophet Telvin Adjei Sowah

Prophet Telvin Adjei Sowah, head pastor of Prophetic Life Embassy, also made a bold prediction in a viral social media video, declaring that Ghana would defeat England.

“We will colonise them. The England national team, I said we will colonise England.

“Their number four is the one who will give us the goal; he is not a good player. The Ghanaian people will be dancing; we will colonise them and they will cry in Britain. Their king will call and ask what is happening. The coach will be sweating, and we will colonise them,” he stated.

Prophet Elisha Anane

Prophet Elisha Anane of Charismatic Praise Ministry International also predicted a victory for Ghana.

Speaking in an interview with Sankofa Radio, excerpts of which were shared on social media, he stated that Ghana would defeat England.

“They should write down the 41st minute. Ghana will score against England and win the match before the 90 minutes. I have seen it, and I am not here for Ghanaians to insult me. Ghana is going to score and win; simple,” he said.

The match between Ghana and England is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 pm on June 23, 2026.
