Ghana Education Service announces recruitment timeline for 2026

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the timeline for its ongoing recruitment process, with successful applicants expected to assume duty on August 31, 2026.

In a statement issued on June 24, 2026, and signed by the Deputy Director-General (Management Services), Prof Smile Dzisi, it said all applications are being assessed to ensure they meet the eligibility requirements.

"Currently, the GES is reviewing all applications to ensure they meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the recruitment advertisement," it stated.

The GES further disclosed that the review of applicants is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026, after which the onboarding process at the Regional and District levels will run from July 20 to August 31, 2026.

"All successful applicants are expected to report for duty on August 31, 2026," it added.

The GES entreats all applicants to remain patient throughout the process.
