This road is NOT a newly constructed road. The road was constructed by Goldfields Damang mine from Aboso to Damang through Huni Valley. It was a well constructed asphalt road but management of former Goldfields Damang mine looked on whilst galamseyers mined directly beneath it. E&P took over the Damang mine only recently and there is little they can do. The Minerals Commission and the Prestea-Huni Valley Municipal Assembly should have acted to save the road. Readers MUST know that the road in question is a PRIVATE ROAD constructed by Goldfields Damang mine. The mine didn't use the original long winding gravel road.

Years after the road had been constructed with engineers on site till completion, galamseyers began to dig and dig and the result is what we all see there!!

That section of the road will surely cave in because it is clear that they have dug the other side of the road too.
