    This statement from GJA is bogus. Are they saying that those they are destroying have no right? I would have given him 6 months to serve others as a deterrent if I were the Judge.

    Let us understand that he was jailed for contempt of court and not for damaging somebody's reputation. He simply did not respect the court in this instance. It has got nothing to do with his work as journalist.

    Why do journalists in Ghana think that they are untouchable? About 60% of them take money and write one sided reports all the time. Very few of them take time or even care to investigate the stories they put out.
