A Ghanaian woman has narrated how she used to smuggle illegal drugs, including cocaine and marijuana (wee), to the father of her son, who was living in the United Kingdom.

The woman, who has now been left frustrated by the family of the man, who is now deceased, said that she and her son, now 20 years old, have been deserted by the family.

Speaking in an interview with Auntie Naa on Oyerepa FM on June 24, 2026, she said that it was the father of her child who introduced her to the drug business.

“He told he that he was into the smuggling of drugs from Ghana to the UK. And so he introduced me to some people, who I would go to for the drugs and send them to him. I did it so many times. He showed me the people to give the drugs to so they would get to him, and any time he got them, he called and informed me.

“I was living in his house, so he also sent me money to buy building materials like tiles and cement… I did this work with him till I got pregnant. I lost the child during my first pregnancy, but subsequently, I got pregnant again, and I gave birth to a baby boy,” she narrated.

She said that she was eventually arrested after the drug she took to the airport to be transported to the man in the UK was traced to her.

She stated that she was jailed for 10 years for her crimes, but she never gave up the father of her son.

She said that upon her return, the man wanted her back so they could continue their business arrangement, but she refused because of the experience she had in prison.

The woman indicated that after refusing to go back into the drug trade, the man threw her out of his house and took their son.

Her challenge now is that the sister of the man has taken over the properties of the man and has refused to help her son, who is now a drug addict.

She wants her fair share of the properties of the man because she contributed greatly to the wealth and properties he left behind.
