According to her, a young man approached her, complimented her appearance and asked her where he could get a similar jersey.
She further alleged that the man was holding a handkerchief and suddenly wiped her face with it.
"I told him that the jersey was widely available and that there was no need to ask where I got it.
"He was holding a handkerchief and suddenly tried to wipe my face with it. I became angry and questioned him, but he insisted that there was something on my face", she recounted.
The young woman said the handkerchief had a strange smell and within a few seconds, she began feeling dizzy and believed something was wrong.
"I didn't see the young man again; suddenly a woman in a black car then approached me and warned me to be careful of kidnappers. She suggested that I sit in her car and rest for a while and began leading me towards it. Because I was feeling dizzy, I followed her.
However, the situation was interrupted when a woman selling slippers on the pavement intervened.
The trader reportedly challenged the situation, asking whether she knew the woman and if she knew where she was being taken. She then stopped her from entering the car and told the suspect to leave her alone.
"At that moment, a woman who sells slippers on the pavement intervened. She told the woman to leave me alone and asked whether I knew her or knew where she was taking me. I said that I did not," she narrated.
The trader gave her a seat and took her brother's contact so he would pick her up. She advised the public to remain vigilant, cautioning that kidnapping is real.
