Watch as Captain Smart ‘jabs’ Akufo-Addo while introducing Mahama at public event

Viral videos of outspoken Ghanaian broadcast journalist Blessed Godsbrain Smart, popularly known as Captain Smart, have captured him referencing former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during an event attended by President John Dramani Mahama.

In the viral footage, Captain Smart is seen serving as the master of ceremonies (MC) and introducing President Mahama to deliver his speech.

While showering the President with praise, he described him as a leader who listens to the people and does not discriminate.

He also noted that President Mahama does not ask chiefs to stand before greeting them, in an apparent reference to an incident that occurred during the administration of former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

"The president who listens, the president who does not discriminate, the president who does not ask chiefs to stand up before he greets them... help me welcome John Dramani Mahama," Captain Smart said.

After his name was mentioned, President Mahama smiled broadly and waved to the audience before taking his seat.
