    Of vourse these areas were originally not designated for infrastructure development per the Doxiades plans for Accra/Tema. Greed and avarice unfortunately has brought this upon us.

    Yet they sell properties in Dollars at these areas. And the rent is crazy at these areas. Whoever buy land in these areas are just throwing their monies away. It's about to get worse in the future.

    It would be helpful if Met services are able to give warnings of likely floods BEFORE the first downpour. It would give people in flood-prone areas time to move cars, belongings etc to higher, safer ground.
