However,who has the power to enforce the rules and thereby change attitude ? Behaviour is shaped by consequences, which in turn is dictated by law, enforceable by the state, controlled by politicians, who for parochial reasons, have failed to do so.

That is the truth.John Mahama was President in 2015 when many people were burnt to death because for the first time we saw fire burning on the surface of flood waters,but did nothing to solve flooding problems in Accra.And in 2024, he had the audacity to blame Nana Addo about the same problem.He even went to the extent to blame NPP for fewer rains in 2024.In 2026 God is giving Ghana plenty rains just to punish him for lying for power. As pastor Owusu Bempah said God will continue to expose President Mahama for lying to win power.Cocoa farmers are still waiting for boreholes in their farms and Ghana 's unemployed youth are waiting for his 1-3-3 jobs God cannot be mocked.

Politicians have allowed the problem to fester. Can you dare to be this indiscipline under Rawlings and Salifu Amankwaah?? And yet what did we do? We cried and raved and ranted that Rawlings was evil and we wanted "emancipation" from discipline and order.

Today we're crying about flooding when we are the source and root of our own demise.

We must all of us commit ourselves to playing by the rules and doing the right thing. We must stop institutionalizing corrupt practices and everyone must be equal before the law.

Then we can hold government accountable with a clean conscience. We do not have that right anymore because we have chosen to entrench corruption and indiscipline as an established way of life for convenience's sake. That will eventually only lead to ruin. The last two days have accrued enough evidence that that path will never be the solution.

Now that we know, we have to commit to private attitudinal and behavioural turn-around. If we don't, we will all wake up in a coffin one way or the other before our time.

A word to the wise.....

But I know you won't listen.....so let nature take it's course .
