What is the cause of flooding Accra. The problem is the narrow outlet of the Odor River into the sea at James Town.
The inlet of water into the sea is deep than the sea, so the flood waters have nowhere to go so return and go up stream causing flooding. Thus the road from Korlegono to James Town must be broken in two or three thus creating chance for water to flow into the sea.
The new outlets to be created must be higher than the sea, so that water from the sea does not flow into it or them.
