Why do you build a market on a lowland just along a river basin. Well, you can build the market, but know that, as expected, nature will claim is own property: the market will flood. It wont happen just once, twice, every now and then. It is the work of nature !!
Meanwhile, you have turned the river into some shallow gutter and the gutter made a refuse dump!!
Good, if you want to gain land for development, then the gutter must be made very wide and deep (10 m minimum), plus : there should be filth in it. Water should be able to flow freely without any obstruction .....
But the fact still remains: the entire Odawna area is not suitable for any human habitation and activity. The area MUST reserved as buffer zone for its natural purpose as river basin and for flora and fauna.
