Demolition alone will not stop the flooding problem. Even if they knock down the whole of Accra down they will still be flooding. What's needed is good drainage system, big and deep gutters for the water to flow through.

Sometimes I wonder whether Zoomlion is working in remote Accra or the work is too much for them too. If we are demolishing illegal structures on water ways then there is no need for compensation.
