  The health and economic impact of outdoor air pollution affect all the population and not only vulnerable sections of people in the country.One of the main cause of the problem is the soot coming from the exhaust of dilapidated trotro vehicles on our highways. One would wonder how do such vehicles pass yearly pollution remission tests in DVLA.

  We are just talking about it, nothing will happen. They are about because they are likely get UNDP funds. Over 50% of vehicles are not roadworthy but all of them have roadworthy stickers on their windscreens, where do they get them? The MTTD are always on the road, how many times have they arrested vehicles emitting smoke? Seriously, nothing will happen. We talk about problems; we don't solve them.

  Efforts to prevent pollution: A statement about the dangers of pollution - Air and Noise, should precede every News broadcast on radio or TV. Looks to me that pollution is excessive in Ghana. We’re not safe at all!
