The bottom line is that it is their country and they have the right to demonstrate against whoever they think is unwelcome there. Ghanaians living in that country should advice themselves as to whether to leave or not. Personally, I cannot understand why any right-thinking Ghanaian - unless he or she is a fugitive on the run, would leave a country like Ghana and relocate to a country like South Africa.

There are many Ghanaians here in Ghana who also rave and rant against the presence of other Africans. Not too long ago, GUTA members also took the law into their own hands and locked up stores belonging to Nigerians. There is a Ghanaian TV Talk-Show host by name Kwaku Annan who has for over a year, continued to demonize immigrants of a particular West African nation on his weekly shows.
