Dr Palgrave Boakye-Danquah is a former Abuakwa North parliamentary primaries aspirant
Senior New Patriotic Party (NPP) member and former Abuakwa North parliamentary primaries aspirant, Dr Palgrave Boakye-Danquah, has appealed for calm and unity among party faithful in the constituency following concerns over the alleged removal of some delegates from the party's album ahead of the constituency executive elections.
In a statement issued on July 6, 2026, Dr Boakye-Danquah acknowledged the frustrations expressed by some members over claims that certain delegates had been excluded from the delegates' register, saying he understood the concerns of those affected.
"I understand the pain. I understand the frustrations. People sacrificed, people worked, and some feel left out. An election is about fairness, inclusion, and trust. And Abuakwa North deserves nothing less," he stated.
He urged party members not to allow the situation to create divisions within the constituency, stressing that the NPP's unity must take precedence over individual disagreements.
"Do not let this moment divide us. Do not let anger give our opponents the advantage. The NPP is bigger than any one person, and Abuakwa North is bigger than any one disagreement," he said.
Dr Boakye-Danquah described Abuakwa North as one of the NPP's most important constituencies, noting that it is the hometown of former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and remains a stronghold of the party.
He cautioned party supporters against entertaining the idea of ‘skirt and blouse’ voting, insisting that the constituency must remain united ahead of future elections.

As a senior member of the party and former government spokesperson on governance and security, Dr Boakye-Danquah said he would immediately engage the constituency's Member of Parliament, as well as, regional and national party leadership to seek an amicable resolution to the issues raised.
"My goal is simple: to resolve these issues amicably, transparently, and in accordance with our party constitution so that no loyal member feels disenfranchised," he said.
He assured aggrieved members that the party leadership was listening and would address every legitimate grievance through the appropriate channels.
"The answer is not to break the party. The answer is to engage, talk, and fix things together. Let us give leadership the space to work," he added.
Dr Boakye-Danquah further urged polling station executives, electoral area coordinators, youth members and the wider party base to remain patient and put the party's interests first.
He maintained that the NPP's overriding objective should be reclaiming power in the 2028 general elections, expressing confidence that a united Abuakwa North would play a leading role in that effort.
"Our strength is in our unity. Together, we will resolve this, and together, we will retain the seat and deliver victory for the NPP in 2028," he noted.

*PRESS RELEASE*
*Dr. Palgrave Boakye-Danquah Urges Unity and Patience in Abuakwa North NPP*
Leadership Will Address Grievances Ahead of 2028
From: Dr. Palgrave Boakye-Danquah
Senior Member, NPP | Former Parliamentary Primaries Aspirant, Abuakwa North | Former Government Spokesperson on Governance and Security
My dear brothers and sisters of *Abuakwa North*,
Greetings to you all.
I have taken notice of the concerns, videos, and allegations circulating within our constituency regarding some delegates who have allegedly been taken out of the album, as well as frustrations expressed by some members ahead of the executive elections on Saturday.
I understand the pain. I understand the frustrations. People sacrificed, people worked, and some feel left out. An election is about fairness, inclusion, and trust. And Abuakwa North deserves nothing less.
*I therefore urge all of us to remain calm, united, and focused.*
Do not let this moment divide us. Do not let anger give our opponents the advantage. The NPP is bigger than any one person, and Abuakwa North is bigger than any one disagreement.
*Abuakwa North is not just any constituency.* This is the home of Prof. Amoako. This is also the hometown of our former President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. Abuakwa North is the heart and a stronghold of the NPP. Therefore, the thought of “skirt and blouse” should not even cross our minds.
As a *senior member of this constituency*, a *former parliamentary primaries aspirant*, and a *senior member of our party at the National level*, it is my duty to protect the unity and interest of our party.
In that regard, I will *seek immediate audience with our Hon. Member of Parliament* and engage the Constituency, Regional, and National leadership of the NPP. My goal is simple: *to resolve these issues amicably, transparently, and in accordance with our party constitution* so that no loyal member feels disenfranchised.
Leadership is listening. We are behind the victory of the party 100%. I can assure the base that every grievance that has been raised will be addressed. The answer is not to break the party. The answer is to engage, talk, and fix things together. Let us give leadership the space to work.
Our focus must remain on one thing — *winning power in 2028*.
With *Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as our Presidential Candidate and the next President of Ghana*, Abuakwa North must lead from the front. A divided house cannot deliver victory. A united Abuakwa North will.
I call on all party faithful, polling station executives, electoral area coordinators, and the youth:
Let us exercise patience. Let us trust the process. Let us put the party first.
*Our strength is in our unity.*
Let’s protect Abuakwa North’s legacy. Let’s protect the NPP. Together we can do more.
Together, we will resolve this, and together, we will retain the seat and deliver victory for the NPP in 2028.
*God bless Abuakwa North.
God bless the NPP.
God bless Ghana.
Thank you.
*Dr. Palgrave Boakye-Danquah*
