Otumfuo selects 15th Queen of the Asante Kingdom

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has selected Nana Ama Bonsu as the 15th Queen of the Asante Kingdom.

The selection was made as part of traditional processes within the Asante Kingdom, which guide the appointment of queens to support the stool and royal household.

Nana Ama Bonsu is expected to assume her responsibilities in line with Asante customs and traditions, working closely with the royal court in her official capacity.

Further details surrounding her formal installation are expected to be announced by the Manhyia Palace in due course.
