Remember Columbus boys went in the name of evangelization and ended up wiping out the black indices of USA, Canada etc. They use divided rule in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay to wipe out black race in those countries. He is equal in rank to the Paramount Chiefs of the other AMANTOUR chiefs. Juabenhene is the Family Head of Asanteman and Nsutahene is the uncle. The Asantehene traditionally never greater than any of the Paramount Chiefs of Asanteman. The other AMANTOUR Paramount Chiefs swear allegiance to the Asanteman Council BUT NOT TO THE ASANTEHENE. That is why there is always peace and no Chieftaincy disputes and wars among the Asante people. Let other ethnic groups learn from the Asante people.

Ghana is a one unitary state with a constitutionally elected president and parliament which runs for a fixed term. Every chief travels on the Republic of Ghana Passport. Kings travel on their kingdom's passport, sighed by them and use their kingdom's currency. Our chiefs all have Ghanacard just as all of us and use the Ghana cedi as currency in exchange for goods and services. Let's stop the silly reference to chiefs as kings. It makes us look stupid because we know very well that it's wrong but out of sentimentalism and emotional attachment to and addiction to primitive and primordial tribalism we do so.

Ghana is a constitutional republic, not a collection of kingdoms. While the country has respected traditional authorities, including chiefs, queens, and queen mothers who play important cultural and customary roles, their jurisdictions are traditional rather than sovereign states. Using the term 'kingdom' loosely to describe traditional areas in Ghana is therefore misleading. It is important to stop this before it degenerate into something else.
