Our ex players and press do not help sometimes with their utterances. How old would he be in 5 years? When Nigeria did not qualify for World Cup did they dissolve everything? Soon the clamour for local players will start again and given ex players roles will also start. But look at Paintsil, Dauda and Offei and their squad call up and tactics for the friendly with Mexico and you can tell they played a role in the call up to the World Cup. Corruption has destroyed our football and the way it used to be played. Pressuring the coach from every corner to select a family member or friend, to select a captain who is not worth it should not be part of football.
The LOVE for the country, the flag and its people is gone, only MONEY CHOP matter.
We can build the best football fields or stadiums in Ghana, it won't change anything if we don't put the right people to run our federation.
Our older generation players like Ibrahim Sunday, Mohamed Polo, Peter Lamptey, Osei Kofi, Dan Opong, Baba Yara, Mama Acquah , Dogo Moro and others used to practice or play on the rocks without shoes with empty stomach and Ghana was wining. Now that we have the money and beautiful grassed stadiums, CORRUPTION has taken over love of the beautiful game.
Our national football league is too bad, too poor and cannot bring out any new talents. The pay cannot even buy you Watche, kenkey and Kanemi for breakfast.
Our football governance is still living in the past and many things need to change.

The problem with the black stars has always been selecting and fielding sankwas undeserving players (Elisha Owusu, Jordan Ayew, Kwasi Sibo, kamaldeen Suleimana, Gideon Mensah, salis samed, etc) at the expense of other in form players (Joseph Paintsil, Ibrahim Suleimana, Majeed Ashimeru, etc) where games matter most! Get the GFA to do the right things, the next coach to do the right things, and the deserving players to play the right way, and we'll qualify and win the next Afcon sweet and easy as drinking iced-water.
