Notice that the article only gives a number of employees sacked, but not a word about whether these employees had been prosecuted. Makes one wonder why. These corrupt acts will be greatly reduced if the government were to seriously pursue prosecution of suspects, and have their photos and names made public if they happen to be convicted by courts. Some financial institutions also unwittingly encourage these bad actors by refusing to report corrupt officials to the authorities , believing that doing so will tarnish the image of the financial institutions.
