The Chief Executive Officer of GhanaWeb, David Antwi, has described the newly launched GhanaWeb Real Estate Platform as a digital marketplace built on the trust the company has earned over the years.
Speaking at the unveiling of the platform at the Alisa Hotel in North Ridge on Thursday, July 9, 2026, Antwi said the portal is more than a property listing website.

Distinguished guests, industry leaders, valued partners, members of the media, ladies and gentlemen, good morning.
Today marks another defining moment in GhanaWeb's journey of innovation. For more than two decades, GhanaWeb has connected millions of people to information, opportunities, and each other. Today, we extend that mission to one of life's most important decisions, finding a place to call home or identifying the right property to invest in. The launch of the GhanaWeb Real Estate Portal is our response to a growing need for a smarter, faster, and more transparent way of connecting people with property.
The real estate sector remains one of the strongest drivers of economic growth in Ghana. Yet many people still struggle to find credible listings, while property owners, developers, and agents often find it difficult to reach genuine buyers and tenants. The market has long been fragmented, making the search for the right property time-consuming and uncertain. We believe technology can change that. We believe trust can change that. And today, we are taking a bold step towards making that change a reality.
The GhanaWeb Real Estate Portal is more than a listings website. It is a digital marketplace designed to empower every property owner, landlord, estate agent, and developer to market their properties with ease. Whether it is a family home, an apartment, a piece of land, a commercial space, or a short-stay property, our platform provides the visibility, convenience, and reach needed to connect with thousands of potential buyers, renters, and investors in Ghana and across the diaspora. It places opportunity within everyone's reach.
At GhanaWeb, we understand that our greatest asset is the trust we have built with our audience over many years. That trust is the foundation of this platform. As we continue to improve and expand our features, our commitment remains the same: to create a reliable, accessible, and technology-driven marketplace that empowers businesses, supports investment, and makes property discovery simpler for everyone.
