Becz there is no work in the country, they have taken advantage, so if u ask the person to mix ten bags of cement for the work,he will mix eight and hide two, so within few months, the road starts to develop fault, so who shld be blamed?
The authorities shld do something for them..
Meanwhile, the big men in the work are taking big big money, while the small boys, are doing the work.

As a matter of fact wages in Ghana is very poor and embarrassing. These workers have to pay for transport to get to work every day. Pay for food, rent, electricity and water. They have also have to pay for medicines when they get ill, which they do get sick often because of the hard work they are doing. Salaries for laborers, cashiers, and clerks are very degrading in Ghana.
