Two gunmen stormed the school premises
A group of armed men has allegedly invaded the Zohe E.P. Primary and Junior High School in Yendi, firing gunshots on the school grounds and sending students and teachers scattering in terror.
A video of the incident, which has since gone viral on social media on July 9, 2026, shows two casually dressed men walking onto the school premises and discharging shots into the air while children and teachers are seen screaming and running in all directions.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and it is not immediately known whether any casualties were recorded.
The footage has sparked widespread outrage online, with many Ghanaians condemning the invasion of a school environment and calling on security agencies to act swiftly.
