These politicians like Bawumia and co think digitalization is all about making noise. Since when it is time to collect data on shrines, churches, citizen ID, etc etc? A failed state. Go to Rwanda and see how digitalization is being used. In Ghana we have distributed databasess sitting at various houses, which doesn't do anything. We create digital institutions left right centre without any meaningful results. We have NITA, NIA, Cyerber Authority, NIB, etc but no RESULTS, still struggling with data. NITA should be the one who should be the custodian of all Ghana's centralized database like Singapore, where all data is being accessed for a fee. DVLA data, citizen's ID, birth and death, GRA data, in fact all data must be hosted by NITA not individual institutions. In Singapore you apply for business certificate at one point and all relevant institutions will contact you from nowhere. That is the power of digitalization....
