Ghanaians will be highly surprised if plaintiff is granted the reliefs because the wording of that provision in the constitution is unambiguous. Two terms simply means, "twice". One joins a flight to London and back the same day or he spent two days before flying back are all the same "twice". With regards to the two terms, each is separated by election so nobody should attempt to impose any unconstitutional ideas on Ghanaians. We want peace.

All the AG needs is a Preliminary objection to dismiss this suit on ground that there is no ambiguity in Article 66(2) of the 1992 to invoke the original supervisory jurisdiction of the Supreme Court. The words of Article 66(2) are plain and clear: a person cannot serve for more than two terms, period. It does not talk about consecutiveness of the of the term of service. So, after you serve for two terms, you cannot contest as President, it is immaterial whether your terms were consecutive or not. It does not admit ambiguity, which is a crucial precondition to of invoking the original supervisory jurisdiction of the Supreme Court as this suit seeks to do.
