Of course, both parties use this allegation strategy against each other when in power anyway and in the end nothing happens.

The appointment of Miracles Aboagye to a post that gave him and others the opportunity and access to Ghc 55 million of taxpayer monies under the NPP majority government of Akufo-Addo /Dr. Bawumia government was yet proof that the NPP did whatever it took to cover their onion skin capacity for men with wisdom and foresight. The NPP, in all its bravado, is a victim of an overgrown party with fewer "go to" elders with ability for candor.

The issue is whether due process has been followed in Miracles arrest. The arresting started investigations earlier, Miracles has been to EOCO on this matter. He traveled abroad while investigations had not concluded. Then the investigators say they found new evidence so he was arrested at the airport. He was then sent to his house for a search n brought back to EOCO. EOCO has 48 hours to charge him and send him to court or grant him bail. He was granted bail before the 48 hours expired. He was granted bail after 4 hours interrogation before his lawyers. EOCO has followed due process. There was no breach of his rights. When the 48 hours have not expired one cannot complain of a breach of due process. Now before the 48 hours expired Miracles had access to his lawyers and is on bail.

What was the use of gathering at EOCO when it had not breached the rights of Miracles ?

The same thing was done when Wo tumultuous was arrested, Wontumi is now standing trial. A suspect is not taken to court straight away, the suspect is processed before going to court.

A suspect who can easily travel out of the country should have stiff bail conditions. So that he cannot leave the country like Ken Ofori Atta.
