Why should cabinet do the final review? I don't know ooooo...someone should just educate me. Especially when someone in office wants to have a 3rd term. Please let us have peace before this democracy thing is turned upside down for the free speech we are all enjoying die. Yoooooo!!!

Parliament has a role to play and if my following of the process is right, parliament has done their part before submitting the document back to the seat of government to also go through.
It doesn’t end there as the AG will also peruse the document for inputs before it goes through the final implementation process it requires.
I don’t think the review contains anything about 3rd term but rather extension of the 4 years rule to 5 years for 2 terms

I'm not seeing some of the most topical issues that should be considered. We need to elect our Regional Ministers and MMDCEs and grant regions semi-autonomy to mobilize resources for their own development. Appointment of CJ, IGP should not be done by the President. The president has too much appointing power. This should be reduced. There should be a term limit for MPs, two terms (maximum 3). We should introduce the electoral college system similar to that of the US where the party that wins the majority in the region forms the government. This 50% plus 1 vote is making some region feel they are the kinsmakers when it comes to which party forms the next government. The issue of Article 71 appointees should be scrapped. We can't build a country where some people are adequately rewarded over others. Why should the president, veep, CJ, speaker, ministers, army chiefs, MPs, etc., be highly remunerated with hefty end-of-term benefits and on full salary in retirement, while others, despite several years of service, retire with peanuts or nothing to show for it? This is unfair. The president promised to scrap this ex gratia. Why are we not hearing any steps being taken to terminate it.
