Parents and Guardians will have to accompany them. It is at a Recreational Park, there should always be Guards around. Children are NEVER PERMITTED to go and swim alone in a river, stream, Lake or Ponds. The Parents are in for trouble for being irresponsible.

Their mum is my wife's cousin and if you know how serious they are with their upbringing you wouldn't be saying this. They are the only children they have. They were kids I played with and knows them very well before living to Spain 4 years ago.

Sad news! I don't think it was right for the parents to have allowed 11year olds go away from their neighborhood to play without supervision of an adult. Children of that age are supposed to be playing in their neighborhood with a frequent eye on them, either by their parents or an adult/guardian.

This is a tragedy and waste of life of the twins. May their young innocent souls rest in peace!

It's easy to judge from the outside, but parenting today is far more complex than many acknowledge. In many countries, the old "spare the rod and spoil the child" approach is neither legally nor socially acceptable, and excessive discipline can even lead to intervention by child protection authorities. Parents are expected to strike a difficult balance between protecting their children and respecting their rights.

From what has been reported, the parents knew the children had gone out to play, possibly with friends. Tragic accidents can happen even in loving and responsible families. We should be careful not to mistake heartbreak for proof of poor parenting.

Before pointing fingers, ask: Are our words comforting a grieving family or adding to their pain? Empathy, humility, and prayers are far more valuable than blame. Grief Deserves Compassion, Not Blame
