Why didn’t he pursue the case to Higher Courts and even to the Office of the President. We have corrupt Police Officers in Ghana that can do that but such cases are not tolerated when it gets to Higher Places. It is not yet late. He can even appeal to the Office of the President and the supposed Police Officer will be disciplined.
He can make his case known and available to the numerous FM and Radio Stations and the supposed Police Officer will be in Hot Waters.
The story of the accuser is too true to be true and be believed. He might have done something very wrong or criminal because that is not how the Police operate, especially not when the case has gone to court. He can appeal to the IGP and the supposed Police Officer will be disciplined. The Police Officer may even be dismissed. It is not yet late. Appeal to the IGP and release the information to the various FM Stations and see what will be done to that Police Officer. That Officer will be coming with Chiefs and some elders in the community to plead for him for forgiveness.

The best way to remove bad people from government is to abolish the practice of political appointments and ensure that all top public officials are elected by votes and they can choose their running mates to expedite progress in development of Ghana. Most Ghanaians would pretend that they do not see these message that I keep reporting, because most Ghanaians are corrupt by their DNA. This is not a surprise and an isolated case. I know of someone who encountered a similar fate and a whole judge told him, my brother, you should just have ‘settled’ the policeman to avoid coming here. Now that the case is before me, I am obliged to sentence you. Meanwhile, the speed with which the whole traffic offense was processed by the police till sentencing was like 2 hours! He did not even have time to get a lawyer. He was arrested for a traffic offense. Detained for like 30 mins, taken to court and on arrival at the court, the prosecutor went straight to the judge’s chamber and his case was immediately called as soon as the judge emerged from his chamber like a few minutes later. Right after the police prosecutor had presented the charge, he was asked to plea amidst shouting on how to compose himself in court. A few minutes later, he was sentenced to 3 months in prison plus a fine. After judgment was pronounced, a worried lawyer approached the judge who called the convict to his chambers, spoke a few words and thereafter some monies changed hands and his case was striked out and he left.
