While local translation means the clothes are from dead white people, that is not the case.The used clothes come thrift shops that you Ghanaians import from dealers that trade in them. In the US, these are clothes that are donated to charities like Goodwill. These imports are in direct competition with the local textile industry. The government can ban importation of used clothes or place high tariffs on them to protect the local industry.
