Bail conditions should be very strict and high in some cases to prevent accused criminals jump bail. Yes, when they are strict and high, not every crime can be bailable. Crimes like murder, rape, robbery, duping, drugs and the like should in most cases not be bailable for the criminals to abscond. How will one feel if the wife is raped at gunpoint or threatened weapons and the accused is given a cheap Bail Bond? If you can’t do the Time, don’t do the Crime.

Such suspect will abscond and meet the 10 thousand cedis, instead of the 100 million cedis crime price.

It is absolutely Ridiculous and Nonsense to suggest that bail condition has been WEAPONISED in Ghana. The bail conditions are there and the courts know it. Bail conditions for someone charged for allegedly stealing two chickens is obviously not going to be the same as the bail conditions for political Appointees who have been charged for stealing Millions of CEDIS .
