Minister of Finance, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, is expected to present the 2026 Mid-Year Fiscal Policy Review to Parliament on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

The review will provide an update on the government's economic performance and the implementation of the 2026 Budget during the first half of the year.

The Mid-Year Fiscal Policy Review serves as a progress report on the country's public finances, outlining the government's revenue performance, expenditure levels, key achievements, and plans for the remainder of the year.

It also provides the government with an opportunity to revise its fiscal strategies in response to changing economic conditions and emerging challenges.

The presentation is mandatory under Ghana's Public Financial Management framework. The Finance Minister is required to present the review to Parliament by the end of July each year.

The exercise is intended to promote transparency and accountability by keeping Parliament and the public informed about the state of the economy and how public resources are being managed.
