Manasseh is a fine gentleman and one of the nation's crusaders.
But sometimes is good to reach out extensively to authorities for clarity and rational of certain decisions. Some of us rely a lot on him for information and education. For all you know these decisions emanated from the leadership of NSPA and only approved by NSS. And so, to paint a picture of abuse and exploitation in this manner can be misleading. Also, to suggest that one wholesale training program for all is bad can equally be misleading. for instance, a program on nurturing one's potentials for a successful career path and development after school must not necessarily be tailored to a particular discipline. This will involve the exposure of participants to well documented professional principles and well-structured codes of conduct necessary for success. I have no affiliation whatsoever to the NSS management, just my opinion and observation. Manasseh is still a national hero though.

But if your leadership (NSPA) engaged the NSS for the organization of a training program and you don't complain or raise concerns with them and then you allow the NSS to deduct your money, how do you blame the NSS at this stage.

NASPA is only a voluntary organization but has nothing to do with their allowances let alone take such decisions without the personnel's consent. All involved should be prosecuted immediately. The boss of this organization should be sacked and prosdcuted

My bro am not a politician, and I don't work in the public sector. I stand strongly in favor of public accountability. I was only drawing attention to the fact that training programs can be useful when well organized. Also, NSS cannot deduct any money if the NSPA does not agree to it. Mostly such suggestions and decisions emanate from the service personnel leadership and not the NSS management. In any case, we are not discussing whether the deducted money was embezzled or not. Anyway, that is also your opinion but try to be civil and not insulting ok.

My view is that the boss of the National Service Scheme may be complicit to this illegal act. How on earth do you deduct from somebody's salary without his consent? She should be charged with "robbery".
