You've just improved your security machinery at the airport; you can see it from the state of the art installed modern machinery, something one hardly sees in Western Airports. Next thing is, passengers have always placed their carry on bags in a tray that carries it through the machinery; so that process didn't start from the new installed machinery.

No need taking off one's shoes again, unless suspected, fine, but why would you differentiate thick shoes from slippers to the extent of saying nothing can be hidden in slippers?

Are you giving prospective smugglers tips on how to change/outwit security in their bid to smuggle through the airport?

Officer, for your information, a lot can be hidden in slippers as well!

The new installed machinery is top notched, let's hope the people manning it will act in professional ways and not in their usual greedy selfish interests.
