What exactly does a "DEAL" mean? Leniency, mitigation after very serious criminal enterprise?

Corrupt judiciary, Corrupt AG! What a shame, what a stupid country!

It is fantastic that, "The State" would even envisage a plea bargain with someone of Wontumi's caliber, a very seriously morally bankrupt individual. "The State" is very corrupt, which is what we have forever been dealing with.

There are laws in this country that deal with criminality, so nothing could have pushed anyone to contemplate having a deal with Wontumi, to the extend of allowing him to want to commit numerous crimes and still have the space and free hand to call the shots.

I have forever been asking what makes Ghanaians so stupid, and now, I am even getting far away from getting a response. That, "the plea bargain negotiations between Wontumi and the state failed because his offer did not meet the expectations" is not only a farce, but a slap on our faces. What did the state expect? Half, 75% of the amount, when there's even no certainty about the real amount Wontumi took from the bank.
