ENYE AKYEMFO NE MANSON. KWASEABUO NA EDE MATE MEHO BAE. I have known Ghanaians and some other Africans living peacefully in South Africa even in the early Sixties. What then happened?
Generally speaking, the Apartheid Government did not encourage South Africans to go to school and learn any purposeful trades. So many Educated Africans who migrated there were gainfully employed and well paid. South Africans do not know even how to open and operate wayside shops and businesses. When Apartheid ended, many South Africans had no skills to be employed in any serious businesses. So, the immigrants were well educated and skilled were preferred for employment by the South African Whites. This made the Black South Africans offended and angry. With the passage of time, the Black South Africans started to complain that they can’t have jobs in their own country except difficult jobs that demand Manual Labor. So, the Black South Africans started to become hostile to the Black Africans and accused them of taking away their jobs. They failed to remember how some African countries like Ghana, Nigeria, Ethiopia among others helped stop Apartheid in the country. Some Africans were smart and left for Western Europe,Canada, and the USA. Now that they have forced other Africans to leave their country, it is the South Africans who are suffering. One of my friends there told me that now South Africans have to travel to about 30 or more miles for even Haircuts and Dressing, Small Businesses that were owned by foreigners have closed down. Businesses owned by White South Africans are suffering because their employees have left. Even the country has not got enough Bus Drivers, Nurses, Doctors, Mechanics and other skilled workers. So South Africans have now regretted for what they did but the harm has already been done and they are suffering. Their Schools have no Teachers. It is their Xenophobia that is causing them to suffer now. I wish other African countries could come together and deport all South Africans in their countries back to South Africa.

This attempt by these Ghanaians(and only God knows who is behind them) will lead nowhere but will seriously embarrass South Africa because of the negative publicity that is likely to follow.
