In Ghana, many people are seen as fearless and brave when they speak rubbish about people, especially Politicians in the media even when such statements are knowingly false. Such unprovable accusations that malign people, especially those in Authority needs to be stopped. People who make such accusations that can’t be proved should not simply be fined by the Law Courts but should be made to have Compulsory Community Service that should be supervised by the Military. People should not be allowed to just use Democracy to demean their Political Opponents.

Recently he went on his usual attacking spree against Ken Ofori Atta by making reference to one of Ofori Atta’s speeches that a “father can’t abandon his children in difficult” times and so he will stay to make sure Ghana’s economic prospects are brought back to sound footing”.

“And he ( Mahama) was like so why has left his children — why is he running away”?
Listen to sitting President, meanwhile you and your Attorney Generals have not successfully established any prima facie case that makes Ofori -Atta culpable of any wrongdoing. Listen to that character assassination emanating from the mouth of a sitting President.
