Wontumi for sure has hands in gallamsey, but the conviction is marred with politics. If we are afraid to criticise the court then it is not democracy that we are practising. The judge who handled Wontumi's case should have examined and prosecute all those who were involved in such illegal concession but not Wontumi alone because ignorant of the law is not excuse. In fact the judge has targeted Wontumi alone ignoring any other thing else, hence the main idea of rooting out illegal mining. In fact the judge wears NDC Colours. It's politics. Has no good intention of protecting the laws that govern our environment. In addition, the NPP lawyers too are not serious including their people. For NPP people. They could individualy take prosecuting witnessesand others who are coniving with AG to court to challenge them individually, but they are not doing so. Therefore ask why? Maybe, they think others will come and fight their fights for them. But nobody idps coming if they are not ready to challenge individuals who have hands in the case in court.
