The main event is expected to rekindle the long-standing boxing rivalry between Ghana and Nigeria
Sports Education and Management Promotions (SEM Promotions) is set to stage the second edition of its "Night of Republic Day" boxing event on Friday, July 31, 2026, at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra.
The event will feature an international super welterweight contest between Ghana's Musah Rahman Lawson and Nigeria's Raimi Isiaka as the headline bout.
Dubbed the "Gadangme Unity & Peace Festival Fight Night," the boxing show is being organized by SEM Promotions in collaboration with the Gadangme Unity Organization, the Ministry of Sports and Recreation, the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, and the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council (GARCC).
The main event is expected to rekindle the long-standing boxing rivalry between Ghana and Nigeria, with Lawson aiming to secure victory on home soil against the visiting Isiaka.
