That was exactly how the NDC Govt under the then Minister of Trade Haruna Iddrisu scammed the taxpayer into guaranteeing a $24m loan for the Kommenda Sufmgar Factory for which nothing came out of it.

At the opening of the factory in 2016 Mahama showed us Thai sugar bought at Makola. What happened to the $24Kommenda Loan from the India Exim Bank and guaranteed by the Govt of Ghana. Your guess is as good as mine.
