Go to the US and find out some of their president after serving a four-year term and losing, they came back and after that they did not go to file a petition to their Supreme Court demanding an interpretation of the term consecutive.

If some of us allow this petty grammar to cause confusion, it is the greedy politician who is cashing in our ignorance. Two terms means, two terms be it separate of consecutive.

The irrelevance of the interpretation of the constitution lies in Mahama's reluctance to serve more than 2 presidential terms.
Mahama has stated categorically that he is serving two terms as the president of Ghana and that is it.
