PHOTOS: Apostle Kwadwo Safo's funeral underway at Gomoa Mpota

Preparations for the funeral of the late founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission, Apostle Professor Kwadwo Safo, are underway at Gomoa Mpota in the Central Region despite a 10-day interim injunction issued by the Accra High Court over the funeral and burial arrangements.

The funeral grounds have been prepared to receive mourners, church members and sympathisers who have gathered to pay their respects to the renowned entrepreneur, inventor and religious leader.

The court order, issued on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, temporarily restrains former Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, from proceeding with the funeral arrangements pending the determination of a case before the court.

The late Apostle Professor Kwadwo Safo passed away on September 11, 2025.
