Mahama should stop talking about REPARATIONS FOR SLAVE TRADING. Which people fought against each other, captured their own and sold their own into Slavery which was at that time a legitimate trade.
Even if any compensation is paid for the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade, it is going to be stolen by our corrupt Politicians. Why not ask that the Arabs and North Africans pay reparations for the Trans Saharan Slave Trade? They started the Slave Trade with West Africans. Ask Uthman Dan Fodio, the Hausa and the Fulani people. Are you going to tell the Asante and Denkyira people to pay reparations for the Slave Trade. If there should be any reparations, it should be sold to the descendants of those whose ancestors were sold into Slavery.
