35 years age limit is woefully inadequate to give experience meaningful to a person such office.
Even though the 40 years too, is inadequate, yet, it's far better than 35 years to a presidential office holder.
To lead a nation at this time of knowledge explosion is not just reading abcd, it calls for experience.
Look at the current governance of John Mahama compared to his first term.

Most 35 year old Americans are more intelligent, educated and have had a lot of experience than our 35 year old Ghanaian aspiring politicians. At 35 , most Ghanaians have never had any meaningful jobs and experience in life. Most have also been living at their parents homes, and have never contributed a dime to their upkeep. Many are still not mature enough to even think for themselves. How then can such people be allowed to stand as presidential candidates in Ghana? Currently, we have “l immature “ politicians” in Ghana who should have still been sucking from their mothers’ breasts, have been given juice political appointments and have been messing up so miserably. Is this what Ghanaians want for their country?
