Yes, Nkrumah was in Ho in 1964 and danced Akpese with the locals, but Borborbor (more localised around Kpando) was a precursor to Akpese, which was more widespread regionally. Whatever sub-variant it is called, depending on the town or village (Agbeyeye, Agbesinyale, Konkoma, etc), they all have the same or very-similar beat, rhythm, melody and harmony.

• Gold Coast/ Ghana exports raw bauxite to Jamaica.
• Jamaica smelters the bauxite into alumina.
• Ghana imports the alumina to feed Valco which converts the alumina into aluminum sheets.
● Hopefully Ghana will soon start the smelter of our raw bauxite into alumina to feed our aluminum plant at Valco.
