UGMC must consider the gentleman's comment as a feedback and therefore must investigate what happened and make the outcome public because he went public for all to know what really went wrong.

Some of us in the public domain are hearing one but too many stories about UGMC.

Medical negligence is part of medical practice and in general any profession that is practiced like law.

They do not have seasoned medical staff. The hospital is staffed by recent medical graduates who need guidance. In medicine, the number of years you've spent in practice counts for a lot.

In Ghana when an elderly person dies we assume its natural and ignore medical negligence if such occurs. I'm not defending the guy but losing an 83 year old mother is painful just like a yt year old. My issue is the way the hospital started out with the age, it shows same the attitude towards treating elderly patients. If the patient was 50 years will they have started her age of part of the statement? Age is not part of privacy for UGMC I guess. Our hospitals are useless, UGMC and Ridge. Just take good care of yourself in Ghana and do all you can not to get sick. Then write a Will. If you get there through no fault of yours just pray to God for forgiveness of sins just incase your don't come back. Slay queen nurses and doctors filling our hospitals

Slay queen nurses and Doctors UGMC give proper and efficient training to your nurses because you are charging hefty sums of money. It is clearly obvious that your nurses luck proper training and empathy for their patients.
You get to their ER with your emergency case and they just waste time all they are concerned about is money. I won't go further.
Some of them behave as if they don't know exactly what their roles are, UGMC decrease your charges because in spite of all the hefty sums of money you are charging, you don't administer adequate and excellent care patients at all.
If I want to type the information and grievance I have about your services, it will be a lot and it won't be good because I have experienced it myself.
If not for illness why would anyone wake up from home to go to the hospital in the first place for he or she to be treated anyhow??

UGMC is not a hospital anyone should go to. It's a death trap. But God will deal with them paaa.

Ghanaians know how our hospitals operate and Blackson must be making valid allegations that need investigation. It is well known that family member and of patients and the patients have to bribe their way to get certain services done . It starts from the registration process through to discharge . Even when family members are mourning their deceased relatives, some have to bribe the mortuary staff for good preservation until the release of the bodies. Blankson would not have made those allegations if he had not experienced them . After all he has nothing to gain or lose from the allegations. Being from the diaspora, Blackson wants people to know what happens in our hospitals .
